Emails, graves and confusion

I wanted to see how the Trump and Harris campaigns used emails. Like Van Halen and the brown M&Ms, I thought it important to examine a small detail to measure the strength of the whole setup. First up, Trump.

When you arrive at the site, right out of the gates, you’re greeted with an disruptive interstitial that asks you to donate weekly and “Stand with Trump”. Then you’re giving the option of pre-determined amounts to choose from. The lowest being $20.24. The highest was $500. If you cancel out, the website takes you to another page that asks you to “sign up to volunteer” to help “President Trump make America great again!”. Again, they ask you for money. There’s microform asking for your email so they can send you the newsletter.

When you sign up for their emails, you’re sent an email welcoming you to the “MAGA MOVEMENT”. There are a few lines about Trump fighting for you, he’s defending you in this fight, etc. He gives you all the platforms to follow on social media (Truth Social, Rumble, Instagram, X, Facebook). There’s an ask for you to take a poll, and then this statement:
